Carlaminda beef comes from cattle that are raised on open pastures, where they are free to roam and graze - just as nature intended. We believe that this type of environment leads to a happier and healthier animal, and ultimately, better tasting beef.
We take great pride the way we raise our cattle. We are committed to using only the cleanest and most sustainable farming practises.
Our beef is not only good for you, but good for the environment as well.
We rotate our cattle through different pastures to allow for grass regrowth and to prevent over-grazing. This approach allows the land to rest and recover while also improving soil health and increasing carbon sequestration.
Managing grazing patterns also helps to reduce erosion and runoff, preserving water quality.
LOCAL FEED & FORAGE
Our cattle only graze from our pastures. During the drier months, we feed hay and silage that is grown and cut from the same pastures they graze from.
Providing our cattle with only on-farm feed also helps to reduce transport related emissions.
We implement renewable energy technologies within some of our systems. This helps us reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve our energy efficiencies.
We're always seeking to improve our environmental impact and to expand our use of solar energy within our operations.
