BEEF ORDERS

PADDOCK TO PLATE EXPERIENCE

WHAT WE OFFER

Following a target of 7 days hang time, our carefully selected butcher will prepare and package your meat according to your preferences, such as the quantity of steaks, sausages, or mince in each tray.

 

Each tray is then individually packaged and labelled ready to go straight into your freezer.

Our grass fed grass finished beef is available monthly, subject to the availability of our processors.

OUR PRICING

Our price is based on the carcass weight of the animal.

 

Our target carcass weight is 230kg (+/- 20kg).

The cost you pay is $16kg on the carcass weight.

This weight is confirmed by our local certified processor a week before your collection date. This works out to $1,840 for a half (or $920 for a quarter) at target weight. You can opt in for a larger or smaller carcass when ordering.

It's important to understand the difference between live weight, carcass weight, and delivered weight when ordering freezer-ready meat direct from us.

HOW TO ORDER

Our aim is not only to provide a great tasting product at a great price, but also to ensure the ordering process is as seamless as possible.

We recommend reviewing your choices below (a half or quarter animal) and completing the relevant order form using the buttons (also below).

Once we receive your form, we will be in contact to let you know the collection date for your selected pickup location, unless of course, the dates have already been published below. We will then provide details for payment of the deposit (and to thank you for supporting our family farm!). Your order is confirmed once the deposit has been received.

There is nothing more you need to do until our certified processor informs us of the carcass weight. We will then provide an invoice with the balance of your payment which will be due prior to collection of your product.

 

We will also confirm the pickup details at this time. 

To ensure the quality of your beef we recommend collecting your product as soon as possible on your collection day.

THE QUARTER

A quarter animal is half a side of beef split evenly between the forequarters and the hindquarters.

 

These are valued at $920 at our target carcass weight of 230kg.

STEAK
Fillet, Porterhouse, Rump, Round, Oysterblade, Diced

ROAST
Topside, Silverside, Blade

OTHER
Osso Bucco, Ribs, Sausages, Mince

Soup and Dog Bones, Fat

THE HALF

A half animal is one whole side of beef. Not sure you can eat a whole side? Consider sharing with family and friends!

 

These are valued at $1,840 at our target carcass weight of 230kg.

$500 DEPOSIT REQUIRED

MORE OPTIONS

Choosing half an animal allows you to tailor the cuts the way you would like.

You can specify to have T-bone instead of fillet and porterhouse steaks. Or perhaps you prefer tomahawks over scotch fillet steaks. Don't want sausages? No problem. We'll give you more mince instead!

MINIMAL WASTAGE

All orders come with sausages and/or mince, made from the trimmings.

Soup bones and dog bones also come with every order.
